What do you mean by a level base?
Our installation teams expect a flat surface to work on; when we arrive at your site there should be a flat, compact site. We would recommend either a slab or block base and battens placed on top for your building to sit on. If your base is not level when we arrive, your building will be dropped and you may be charged for us to return and install. We can arrange for a purpose built base to be installed for you, please ask at time of order for sizes and prices.
Can you take my old building away?
From 1st October 2008, we can offer a service to take your old building away. Check Services for cost of uplift. These prices are for uplift of building only and disposing of it at a local recycling centre; we only offer this service when you are ordering a new building.
When do I need to treat my building?
You building will be given its base coat prior to leaving our workshops, once it installed in your garden we recommend that you give it a second coat with a good quality oil/spirit based preservative within 3 months of delivery and thereafter on an annual basis.
I live outside your 30 mile radius, would you still deliver?
We do deliver outside our radius; this does however mean there would be a delivery charge. Please contact us for delivery charges. We only deliver within Scotland.
Are there any extras on the prices quoted?
No, all our prices include delivery (within 30 miles), installation, VAT and our standard warranty. The only thing that we charge for over and above the price of your building are tantalised treated battens, we bring them to every job and if you use them the cost £5.00 each if you don’t then we take them away with us.
Do you guarantee my building?
We do offer a 6 month guarantee on all our buildings. If a building is going to leak it will leak after the first heavy rain fall. Contact us straight away and we will get an installation team to rectify the problem. We can not guarantee the roofing felt as birds, children, vandalism, etc are all out with our control.
I require a purpose built building, can you provide this service?
We can offer a purpose built service, if you can visit or email us at the above email address with a sketch of what you require we will contact you with a quote and delivery time.
Can I view the buildings before I decide to make a purchase?
We have over 50 buildings on display at our show site in Leslie, which you are more than welcome to visit and see firsthand our quality of workmanship and ask any questions to our sales staff.
